 Cold winds toss leaves brown and crunchy

Whips them dumbstuck down brick alleys

Through the winter integrating 

Plastered onto rocky soil

Stained by drizzle dusting rain falls

Frozen in mosaic recalls

Up above in gutters tossing

Hither hanging icicles clinging 

Stems adhesive firmly bringing

Drips on sun days brightly stinging

Snap and drop on puddles crashing

Until days of winter passing
