Along the Beaver and Ohio skate 

Take me where America's puppy plays

Along the Han River in January bike

To clear my mind from tragedy 

Of a dying New York City friend 

On the brink 

after loves he has lost

The river down my road has thin ice 

The heat comes up in spurts 

Till it is frozen no more 

Reflections on paths ridden

Green paths covered in white

Joyful memories hidden
