Let the vents blow warmth

Let winter evolve through my window.

The buds are arriving on the trees.

The temperature swinging madly.

It's a renewal I long to see.

A crack between the chill for a bike ride

Grapefruit league baseball on TV

But inside it is only me

Many lives, many seasons past

OI remember the feeling of love

As impatiently I roll into spring

Like a rock under pounding rain

Eroding incrementally
