Yearling

The rippling lake has floating leaves

The mountains have turning trees

It is similar here or there

Many reasons to stay

And a few to go back

None of them for certain

Except for dying leaves

Four seasons Northeast harmonizing

Playing tricks with treats of nature

Starry nights shining through winter ice

Eagle yearlings on their own

Wonderful memories with eyes closed

In winters that blink in amazement

Cozy and dreaming with fires indoors

Cuddled in forever arms once more
