Let Dark Clouds Carry In

 Let the dark clouds carry cool wind in,

 and make the rain fall, 

make it fall cause I'm going nowhere,

 it sounds so cleansing 

shaking leaves on trees, 

clearing the air with fresh breeze, 

for here I stay with no place to go,

 let the birds sing clearly

dare the clouds to wet their nests,

wet my breath with wonder,

dry up loose thoughts of mind,

going forward

leaving my troubles behind,

so let the rain dampen the roads

 I won't be traveling,

 the air jets that can't fly me away,

anywhere, 

on a rainy day
