Crashing Rain

show me where i can see rain

storming from clouds like bowling pins

rolling in like bowling pins

alleys and lanes striking over again

Show me the speeding Youghiogheny

Coursing through Ohiopyle 

float over grabbing boulders  

make me look over my shoulder

the waterfalls at McConnell's Mill

a Slippery Rock Creek pouring down

crashing the kayak road

getting white water rapidly close

enough with all this drizzle 

tickling windowpanes

give me shiny lanes of bowling pins

to wake me up again
