Active and Engaged

active and engaged

like a stream on river rocks

forming the course of reality

molding dreams from worthless clay

a family with dreams as the source

till finality out divorce to bloom

like a butterfly emerging from cocoon

from decisions I made

when I fired the boss

without missing the loss

but who will love and be loved

who i cannot coerce

with active engagement

i give myself new verse
